Sunday Stash - Solstice

I was lucky enough to pick up a bundle of fat eighths on special of Solstice by Kate Spain for Moda Fabrics. This is a lovely Christmas range and perfect for all those Christmas projects. There are 32 prints in the range with the main colours centering around red, green and blue. There is also a few creams added to the mix.

For my project I picked out the prominent red and green fabrics and will be making a quilted wall hanging with these.

I can't believe I am already making Christmas projects, have you started thinking about yours yet?

It's Sunday so I'm linking up with Molli Sparkles Sunday Stash weekly linky party.

Till next time.....happy sewing....

  1. I was thinking I should finish the Christmas project I started last year, lol. It seems you are ahead of me! Are you aware you have the word verification on?

    1. Well I have an excuse for this one - it's being published so had to start early and it forces me to finish it. Thanks for pointing out the word verification I've now switched it off lets hope I don't get any spam..

  2. I could not possibly begin to make something for Christmas yet. We had an awfully long winter. And are still putting a fire in the wood stove here and there. Love your new fabrics! What types of projects are you making?

    1. Lorna this fabric is going to be used for a wall hanging and will be published in an Australian magazine so can't say too much. I'll definitely share once the magazine is out ;)
