Lusciousness Quilt - Work In Progress

If you have been following my blog you would have seen that beautiful Lush fabric by Patty Young for Michael Miller.

I matched the fabric up with some super soft grey shot cotton from my stash and just love the softness it brings to the quilt.

This is queen bed size and I will be backing it with the large Iris floral print and binding with the super bright Clown Stripe in "Candy" Pink by Michael Miller Fabrics.

Linking up at Freshly Pieced for WiP Wednesday!

Till next time.....happy sewing.

  1. Love these fabrics! My fave is the water lily (?) on the white ground. Lush is right! That's going to be a very cheerful bed that gets to be draped in this quilt.

  3. I completely agree with the softness that the grey brings to those fabrics. The quilt has a very calm feeling which is nice. I am intrigued by the striped binding you plan to use. I love pieced and striped bindings! Nice work. :) Jan-Michael

  4. Fantastic combo! The grey was indeed a super choice! This seems very fitting for this time of year.
